WILD ACCESS has since 2021 created site-specific performances for public spaces. Locations include streets, gardens, running tracks, parks, urban greenways, galleries and memorial sites such as Berlin’s former bear pit. Our performances turn sites into stages and invite the outside in. With inventive and accessible formats, we seek to make experimental dance available to the wider public.
Our works are interdisciplinary collaborations between sound, light and dance. We continue to develop new narratives and methods of working with sites through on-site and in-studio research. Following in the footsteps of immersive theatre and participatory performance, we seek a direct engagement with audiences and our performance site, which we consider as partners in the creation process.
In presenting dance in versatile formats, WILD ACCESS welcomes new collaborations and partnerships across communities and contexts.
