GLADE
at Grüntaler 9, Tanzfabrik Berlin

If you go down in the woods today, you better not go alone
It's lovely down in the woods today, it's safer to stay at home
- The Teddy Bears’ Picnic, 1932

A glade – a forest clearing – is a serene place, a grassy meadow where the sun shines through the trees. Here, the domains of light and dark meet, delineating a threshold between the known and the unknown, the human and the non-human, the inside and the outside.

The performance group WILD ACCESS takes the forest glade as their starting point in their exploration of urban wilderness. In this audio walk/performance at Grüntaler 9, they present a site-specific adaptation of their work “GLADE” (2024) that extends beyond the gallery’s walls and windows, inviting the surrounding environment in.
