WILD ACCESS Pankow
at Sportanlage Rennbahnstraße in Berlin
Situated on an 800m running track on the deserted grounds of the Rennbahnstraße sports facility, WILD ACCESS explored the alien in the everyday. Moving along empty football fields and overgrown pathways, an immersive sound score composed from field recordings played with the memory of the activities that took place here. A choreography ensued that was just as much defined by the movement of the audience as it was by the movement of the two dancers: they came close, then ran away, repeatedly colliding in an interplay between distance and proximity, intimacy and estrangement, light and darkness.
